Frequently asked questions.
Will you hike in any weather?
Yes! As long as there are no watches or warnings issued by the National Weather Service, we will hike in the sun, rain, or snow.
Can other people book into our hike?
Yes, the more the merrier! If you would like a private hike, please reach out for pricing.
Can I book groups larger than 10?
Please contact us for scheduling and pricing for groups larger than 10.
Do I need a parking pass?
Yes, all vehicles parking for longer than 15 minutes inside the park require a parking pass. Your specific hike information lets you know where you can purchase a day or weekly pass. They are $5 or $15 respectively.
What kind of shoes do I need to wear?
Athletic or hiking shoes are required! Trails are well maintained but you will still encounter roots, rocks, and other tripping hazards.
Will we see any wildlife?
While we certainly cannot guarantee that you will see any animals on your adventure with us, we do see wildlife quite often.
What do we do if we encounter a bear?
First of all, don’t panic! Black bears are often more afraid of you than you are of them. It’s best to make yourself known by calmly and loudly announcing your presence. Most importantly, do not run. Guides carry safeguards such as bear horns and bear spray.
